About Us
Bringing smiles & education
A group of ferrets is called a business.
We are a small ferret business in Michigan hoping to bring smiles and education to all we meet. We love to talk about our ferrets, ferret care, proper small animal care, and conservation.
Funny Ferret Business is passionate about all animals, especially those in the Mustelidaes family which include Domesticated Ferrets (Mustela putorius furo), the Endangered Black Footed Ferret (M. nigripes), Mink, Otters, Badgers, and Polecats.

Our Story
"Ferret Math" is a real thing and are like Potato Chips - you can't have just one!

It all started with our OG ferret Spazz. Spazz is one of the funniest and cuddly ferrets you will ever meet! He is the old grandpa of the group, imparting wisdom on the newcomers, and making them feel welcome. He tailors how he plays with each ferret at their level, matching their personality. He is both gentle and energetic and is ready to visit.
Then we received a call from someone that needed to rehome their 2 girls (Meep & Dora). Of course we can't say no, and Spazz needed a friend! Spazz showed the girls around and all 3 bonded very quickly. Both Meep & Dora are our wild girls! Meep actually "meeps" and Dora is truly and explorer without any fear. Dora is the smallest, yet fiercest!

That is it! No more ferrets!

Several months later, Pumpkin & SweetPea needed a home. Two small, bonded girls. They are the sweetest little girls that love to give kisses, but don't like to be held long. Pumpkin sleeps in a perfect donut and has a reddish color on her fall coat. Sweet Pea is a champagne color and loves to cuddle with Spazz.

That is it! No more ferrets!
Ferret Math then brought us Oz (aka: 2 Ton). Oz's Ferrants were moving and had fallen in a bucket of Lysol before I came to pick him up. We tormented him by giving him a bath right away. Oddly enough, he snuggled into the towel and went right to sleep. Oz is so chunky and derpy, he fit right in. Spazz needed a male companion anyway. Oz is a visiting ferret that loves ear and belly rubs.

That is is it! No more ferrets!
We are done!

Several months went by, and the sweetest little family was having a hard time finding a good home for Blue. How could we say no?
Blue (named after a velociraptor) came home to 6 siblings eagerly awaiting to play and snuggle. Blue is such a sweet boy, playful and goofy. He loves playing with the others, dooking with delight. He is a great candidate and is training to become a visiting ferret as well.

That is it! No more ferrets!
(Will "Ferret Math" strike again?)
